About me

Agata Sawińska-Babik

I am a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Opole (Poland). I gained my professional qualifications as a legal counsel after completing solicitor’s training at the District Chamber of Legal Counsel in Opole and after passing the vocational examination.

My areas of legal interest include broadly defined commercial law and civil law. In my professional practice, I mainly deal with comprehensive legal services for business entities, both Polish and foreign. The main part of my current activity is rendering services to business entities dealing with wholesale of foodstuffs.

A large part of my professional activity is also risk analysis of particular endeavours and their consequences for the business activity conducted by my Clients, and implementation of preventive solutions protecting against possible threats to their businesses.

In relations with my Clients, mutual trust and proper communication are my priority, which significantly contributes to the achievement of positive effects of cooperation and the desired goal in the Client’s business.

preparing draft letters on current affairs, including filing of complaints and replies to complaints filed by counterparties
providing legal advice on current affairs
drafting internal procedures and their implementation
establishing companies and registering them in the National Court Register in Poland
drafting of resolutions

pre-trial counselling, including risk analysis, verification of evidence, development of a litigation strategy aimed at reaching a settlement favourable to the Client in an efficient and cost-effective way
representation in proceedings to secure claims, conciliation and enforcement proceedings
representation before common courts
summons to a conciliation hearing

I provide legal assistance in individual cases with particular emphasis on civil law cases.

legal counselling on matters relating to contractual obligations
assertion of claims for failure to perform or improper performance of contracts

Labour Law:

legal counselling in the field of labour law
drafting of employment, loyalty, confidential disclosure, and non-competition agreements
drafting of documents relating to termination of employment
drafting of work rules and other internal regulations
